Description
Liquid, loose powder or pressed powder what is best for me?
If you have oily, sensitive, or acne-prone skin, loose powder foundation is probably better for you. In general, powder won’t clog your pores, and it also has oil-absorbing properties, so it’s better suited for reducing that shine that builds up throughout the day.
If your skin is dry, on the other hand, you’re probably better off sticking with a liquid foundation or a pressed powder foundation. A liquid foundation can help give your dry skin a more fresh and dewy look, and it’s much better than powder at filling in fine lines and wrinkles, which tend to be more visible on dry skin. Plus, since a liquid foundation is a bit heavier, it helps give your skin a protective layer aiding in the retention of moisture in dry environments.
If your skin is normal, you have the best of both worlds and can choose loose powder, pressed powder or liquid foundations depending on if you need to reduce shine, conceal fine lines and wrinkles, or wanting specific finishes.
